I'm going to be super honest here, I'm not a big fan of taboos and encourage everyone to talk about their problems.
Maybe some people find it odd to talk about my life struggles but If I can help only person by sharing my experience it was worth creating this page.
Depression
Stay active
Try to find group exercises. Hit the gym. The worst thing that you can do is to stay at home and lay on your bed.
Video games helped me enormously when I struggled with low mood. At some point of my life I was in such a bad shape that I had to start taking antidepressants do enjoy any activity that I previously liked such as video games or producing music. I love the games that have an immersive world that i get lost in. My favourite games were Days Gone, Spider-Man and Last of Us: Part II. Also I realised that I need to keep my mind 100% occupied to avoid any rumination and racing games are the perfect tool for that. I set the transmission to manual to my mind cannot wonder around. Race Driver: Grid and Gran Turismo Sport kept me busy. Also it feels rewarding unlocking new cars, liveries, events and so you feel the progression and keeps you excited.
